Photo album #2: the Beautiful Country

I still don't plan on posting often, but I went through a lot more of my photos today so that I could let them out on Wikimedia Commons. I got to just about every photo on my portable SSD that didn't have some kind of sensitive information in it.

While I was doing that, I noticed that I have a lot of good photos still unreleased online, even of places that I've been to surprisingly few times.

While I usually like to sort my photos by city, I'm going to jumble them all around here and just post a short America album, because I've been getting into politics lately and it makes me both extremely depressed and has me appealing to my patriotism just a little bit when I hear those old Obama campaign speeches. And, I couldn't resist keeping in the naming style of that last photo album.

I'm a Northeasterner. Despite being from New England, I've lived in upstate New York for the past few years and most of my good photos are from the New York area. Most of them are Rochester and NYC.

So, the album is certainly biased, but I threw my one Chicago photo in there too for good measure (I only went there in transit to Taiwan this most recent time; I rode an Amtrak train from Boston all the way out there to meet up with a friend so that we could go over to O'Hare the next day and fly out to Taoyuan together).

So, here you go. For all its faults, the United States can still be pretty.
