exploring hotel

#uni #pblmate It was a long dream but too lazy to write Just wrote some of the scenes inside briefly

I dreamed of something like a school trip with our whole cohort. We were staying in a large hotel.

At first I was sitting alone at a self study table (in the hotel), revising. Later Matthew came (irl groupmate). He asked me what I was doing (I guessed he wanted to invite me to do something), I said I was revising but I have time. During our chat someone handed me two envelopes, so I told Matthew to wait for a moment. The envelopes were very thick and a bit heavy. Probably some gift inside. The letters were from Ivan and Gladys. Apparently it was some kind of school event where people can exchange letters to each other. Kind of like valentines for fun. Before they’re distributing the letters I was a bit pessimistic in receiving any, cuz I used to have none every year. When the person gave me, I was surprised and delighted. But I felt a little guilty because I didn't gift them anything before.

After that Matthew and I went to explore the hotel floor we (the cohort) were all staying at, and dashed and looked around to see what other students were doing. (Now I reimagined it and it honestly felt like learning commons in main campus)

Yeah… that’s it The hotel design feels like the same one in some of my previous dreams. Also with my whole cohort of classmates. Actually the hotel in “secondary school era” and the hotel in “uni era” feels similar. But the secondary school era one was smaller (corridors and stairs were so darn narrow), there were many teachers managing us, and a tight schedule to keep up with. The uni era one is ever so slightly bigger and more classy. With way less teachers and no schedule/ a very general schedule.
