Seemed like the whole dream was happening on a boat/ cruise. The dream was vivid, but since I am writing this in the evening, a lot of the details were missing.

mummified murderer

Seems like I was a detective or something. And we found a mummified body enclosed within layers of very dirty rotting yellowish old shreds, sealed in a case on board, along with a memo. After opening the case and meeting with the body, we were very cautious and checked the memo and clues while maintaining normal conversation with the body (it was almost dying but not yet). And I secretly discovered it was a murderer of ... I think kids? And that I have heard previously a parent was very persisting in finding the murderer for many years.

So I secretly called the parent in order to invite him to come along to see the murderer before we destroy and kill the murderer.

At the ending of the story, the parent came, the murderer saw him? or her, and apologised to the parent. I think the parent said, it doesn't matter anymore, but my quest/ the mystery has been solved. So she was relieved, yet still very sad about her kids and was holding onto some instant photos with both she and her kids (when they were alive) inside.

And the murderer kind of crumbled into dust and dissipated into thin air because it was too fragile.

uni exchange on cruise

Very interesting. I was on the deck on a quite crowded and bustling cruise. The people around were all my friends, schoolmates, or lecturers. There were some food bars in the middle, maybe we were having a buffet. I believe the cruise had just began to sail, as I could see an island (with kinda big mountain) towards our left, around perhaps 10 minutes of sailing distance. I came into Charlotte Hon, whom I grabbed by her arm and asked her where she was going. She replied, I'm on an exchange on this cruise! Everyone was exchanging on this cruise~

I realised I was the only one who had a different destination for exchange. (I forgot what I was going for in the dream), but I am pretty sure the destination I chose to go had to be arrived by air. But I was on the cruise though. So I thought to myself, maybe I was heading to the interchange on the cruise, and later I would swap to plane. Everyone was happy for their own exchanges, including me. A nice view to have.
