Tutoring Services
I offer several tutoring services to students in high school to post-secondary education. Sessions are typically held on Zoom, but I can also do in-person sessions in the Lexington, KY area. Email ([email protected]) for rates with the word “Tutoring” in the subject line.
Standardized Tests: SAT, ACT, GRE
English, Reading, and Composition sections of standardized tests can be tricky, and students may sometimes feel that no amount of effort helps them improve in these areas. With the help of an experienced writer and one-time taker of these tests, you can acquire a toolbox of approaches to choosing the best answer, understanding a writer's message, and writing a good essay.
English Language
I am available to tutor English language learners in a variety of formats, including TOEFL preparation, conversational English, and the standardized tests above. We can tailor the sessions to your specific needs. If you want help revising an English manuscript, see my editing services page.

I have extensive experience designing and teaching courses in the humanities, and I am well familiar with the obstacles to success that students face in these subjects. I can provide help with reading comprehension, content retention, source analysis, and other skills. As I have done with in-classroom students in the past, I will de-mystify these subjects and help you not only survive, but thrive.
