2022/5/15 #poetry I used to think that it was a figure of speech to say that you couldn't put it down. Just a metaphor for how excellent you thought the book was. But now I see that it can really ensnare you, divert you from work, prevent sleep, even make you forget a meal, when a book is exactly up your alley. That while you could of course put it down, only a real emergency could prevent you from picking it right back up again.
2022/5/14 Pushing off until the last moment the same story every day seeming to become a mundane chore even if once fun exciting new change the rules to keep things fresh hold deepening interest for days to come.
2022/5/13 Making the best usually requires knowing Knowing ahead of time can often help too When it's all a surprise you better hope that you are lucky
2022/5/12 When the sun is bright & I get overexposed I feel exhausted & everything is hard. It's a waiting game once I'm affected, as with most types of healing you can't speed it up. Of course, you can always be nice while you're waiting though.
2022/5/11 The limitation is often what makes it cool. The creator was able to use it to express something in an interesting or challenging way. No matter what, there are limitations at play, but they can be more or less strict. Even pure imagination can't function unbounded.

2022/5/7 Unless we've been informed or attempted it ourselves it is very easy to assume that something is not hard to do when we encounter a well done example. Without such an education the effort that went into the act is necessarily overlooked. Often appreciation is based upon understanding of expended effort. Sometimes that's all it is.
2022/5/6 I may set the bar too high. It may be why I have trouble so often with things others find simple, but there are more obvious reasons for that so perhaps it only adds trouble. I set it high for myself. I set it high for others. I don't think to set it so high. In my experience I just find it there. I wouldn't even know it was high if others hadn't told me. Ideals don't warp due to considerations of practicality. They remain even if your approach isn't set to meet them.
