2021/5/16 #poetry Take a break A break to think What about? There are many thoughts that have been waiting to be thought more thoroughly. Pick one. Stick with it. How do you know if the thought is the same thought that has transformed as you thought it or a different thought? Sometimes that is obvious, when it isn't compare the thought as it was before to the thought now and notice. How do you know when it is thoroughly and completely thought? It seems time to take action. The line between thought and action is strange. Sometimes thoughts are action instructions, sometimes thoughts are contemplative. Sometimes they bleed together or flow back and forth. Adjusting thinking intentionally while in action is not usually practical. Being aware that you are thinking changes the direction or speed of the thinking. Thinking about the thinking takes more time than is available in many activities that require decisions. After action analysis is the way to adjust thinking patterns for future action.

2021/5/15 #poetry To the beach, to the beach Today I will go to the beach There is no sun But I'll have fun I'll take my bike I'll ride there fast I'll walk and hike the sand at last I really like The ocean sound The waves that build As the Earth spins 'round If I could live there I suppose I'd stand by the water dip my toes much more often than I do today even though the beach is not that far away

It's so hard to stay on task No responsibilities Schedule relaxed I'd like to stack Accomplishments high From the outside it looks Like I don't even try

One simple habit At least I fulfill It can be hard But it gives me a thrill

One day soon I'll change my tune Feel really nice And dance under the moon

2021/5/11 #poetry Well, seems I got poison oak again. Hot water, amazing. Hotter = better More than I can usually take. Would I be able to enjoy a branding? Jumping into a fire? Probably not. It only feels like it. Takes some mental energy to resist the itch. Not much, but enough that concentration falters. A continuous distraction itself as well. Mental tasks become more effortful. Material tasks a helpful distraction from the sensations. Not many of those for me to fulfill today though. Perhaps weeding...

I was unable to forever avoid the shower, taking only baths. Once in a while a shower is nice. Would be nice a lot if my skin could take it.

2021/5/10 #poetry What would it be like, to be relaxed about cash. Carefree with money. Income agnostic, bold with expense. Just live and experience your life as stable and secure. Have a day of work for the fun of it. Have a day of fun for the sake of it. Take all the time you need with any task of any import. Be sure that doing it right is all that matters, no pressure to do it at all so may as well do well. Work a trip into your schedule, easy. The limit to what to do is time alone. When is not a question about when it doesn't interfere with your main source of income, but just when. Learn only for the sake of your own personal goals. Or learn things just because they are interesting. Never a bureaucratic cause to study. You jump through hoops for no one else. Choices are just as complex, values have just been shifted from need to want. Obstacles are of a different nature. Less frustrating; very much more of a challenge than a problem.

2021/5/9 #poetry Here's a nice way to start the day Create for a while, with words I play This isn't fun without a meaning So rhyme or not I'll keep a log of ideas that spring to mind The secret to creativity is don't try to be clever. You, simply performing the procedure, will create unique enough results it may only be subtly different than what another made but that will be appreciated. If drawing, a room full of people will come up with quite an array of results if told to draw an apple without a reference. 2D, 3D, colored, grayscale, sketched, cartoony, a logo, different mediums/materials would be chosen if given the option, and different levels of artistic proficiency would reveal themselves. If writing, people being told to describe anything, similarly would come up with a variety of different results. The thing could be general, such as 'a house' or specific, such as 'the nozzle on this fire hose', and there would always be variety in results. Creativity doesn't need to be of a new kind to be meaningful. Just go, make what you are noticing or observing at present, whether internal thoughts or external things, describe them or explain their significance. After such explication or exposition you may feel that going back over it to fit it into a framework or story would suit your current interests or needs, it'll be much easier when you have the material to mould than it would if you were trying to come up with situations and ideas that fit the story in the moment. If you are already given the framework that you'll need to have the result in you can work through that very perfunctorily. No need to 'make it interesting' or 'be creative' your individual way of processing language is enough to make it yours as you complete the task, and that is enough for it to be considered creative.

2021/5/8 #poetry There's much to say about making one's way in the way that one feels a fit or not I like to think that the secret of choice is to ignore demands and just go with the gut 'do what you like' may fit for some but fulfillment is not always straightforward if the challenge to great, struggle won't abate considerations should not be ignored take a chance, make a move learning takes many iterations remember though, if you do choose unenchanting and distasteful employ it won't turn into something to enjoy

2021/5/5 #poetry Zurrrooowwwww Zurrrooowwwww the siren is designed to take your attention perhaps it's abuse I tend to think it is over the top I'm not usually it's intended audience I'm very rarely in a car, well insulated from noise and with the stereo turned up to earsplitting levels I can see why such a loud siren would be needed to break through such a scene and the volume also helps for being heard from far away I'm often not far away and it hurts my ears would be great if the cars all went around in underground tunnels that would make the soundscape much better the streets would be much safer too generally more pleasant could be nice could be better could happen if we wanted it as with so many things

I offer you top down reasoning to get to the bottom of the complexity of your life.
