I don't know everything and may change my mind

There are lots of things that maybe good or bad depending on whom you ask.

Then when morality comes into question things starts to get serious.

It now is not just about morals, values, for some it is against themselves.

But even after all that I do know one thing.

It is that the current porn industry and in the future(100-200 years) will still not be ethical.

There is an imbalance of power between the major sexes.

Radical hope: Is it hopeful to think that women, children, etc would have no need be in porn, prostitution, etc. Radical thinking

Progressive/liberal hope: ii) Or is it hopeful of people to think that sex work will become better once legalized.

I always used to be in progressive hope. It all just seemed natural. You should be for this because it will make it great for current people, etc. But what I didn't think about was the future.

Someone said that having the hopeless attitude that there will always be demand for porn, prostitution, etc. It made me feel hopeless. Just because we have need for child labor doesn't mean we actually employ them. Slavery, child labor, etc we get moralistic, objective. But prostitution somehow becomes something that society doesn't hope to remove. Does it mean it is an inherent flaw in human men. I fail to see why that is the case. I have never in my life wanted to be a user. Sure during my teenage after watching too many American Pie movies I thought being virgin was the greatest uncool thing. So I thought maybe I should. But other that one time. I don't remember it happening.

There are many men I know who are much better than me. Men who have never thought of things for coolness, impressing others, etc. So it is entirely possible to stop the need for it. It is not like the majority of the population solicits these services.

It is understandable that reducing the demand will make it harder for current sex workers, etc. But there are things we must do for a better future. The thing is though no government, no one is able to make change. Or I fail to see anyone capable to do that in my limited view.

Because I didn't consider the possibility of there being another kind of thinking.

Recently I just realized how moralistic and hopeful the radical line of thinking is.

It seems utopian.

But then the second one also seems like that. Maybe this is easier to achieve as a current society. I don't know.

But what about the future though?

Radical Will people go regressive with this kind of thinking? Will they become like puritans? Will society go backward towards sex, sexuality, etc.

Progressive Would over objectification and over-abundance lead to continued misogyny that benefits men. Will it make patriarchy stronger (This seems like nonsense, but think about when everyone can be deep faked in minutes).

Nobody knows what will happen in the future.
